Dr. Turner, a board-certified pediatric dentist, grew up in Los Angeles, California and is the youngest of six children. She attended high school in Moreno Valley, California, graduating in 1996. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She attended Howard University College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. During her studies, she was the recipient of the NDA Colgate Palmolive Scholarship, Blue and Gold Alumni Scholarship, and on the National Dean’s List. She graduated Summa cum laude and became a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in October 2012.
With a passion for the oral healthcare needs of children, Dr. Turner completed an Advanced Pediatric Dental Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center a hospital-based program in New York.
With commitment and enthusiasm for outreach and service, Dr. Turner is a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Angel City Dental Association, and American Association of Women Dentists.
